Hello! My name is Ekaterina! I'm a ceramist.

Inside me, deep down, there's a huge, dark toad that only I can see. It sits on the ground, heavy and monumental, and with a somber silence, it eats a mouse, devouring it whole, without haste. Its glands contain psychotropic poison, and its eyes reflect the chaos of the universe. Sometimes, I feel like I'm creating a self-portrait. It was very difficult for me to sculpt her because of the insomnia that plagued me at the time. I created this toad very systematically and carefully, piece by piece, over the course of two months. It contains a large part of me: dark, slow-moving, lonely, but also wise, abundant, and beautiful...
