I don't presume to have any place to tell you what to do, but I can say for me, I am pretty careful of exact doing with 5, seems like not a lot of margin for mucking about.

ad yeah man, IV would be so wild!  1mg would be a wise starting point IMO.  even half if you're alone.

I microdose half a mg intramuscular and it's right on the border of being sub-perceptual.

I figured it worth mentioning that I've also tried 5 via sub cue, which is even slower a ROA than IM.

thinking a great method would be take half the dose subcue and half Im for an even smother rise and release. 

I've found IM to be incredible as well. Great for both 5-Meo-DMT, DMT, and I'm sure other psychedelics too. Very underrated/misunderstood ROA.

Has a 5-MeO-DMT breakthrough dose using this method been clearly defined? I saw 10mg in this thread, but I've found that's not necessarily true if your goal is a full release. I suppose another factor at play would be which salt is used. I think HCL contains more 5-MeO-DMT per mg compared to fumarate.

10 mg was a wild experience for me. I can't even fathom people telling me they do 20mg or more. 
seems like the dose isn't standardizable. set and setting will determine a full release or not.

I've yet to go down that road, but I think doing an IV drip of 5 over a couple hours would be interesting...

allow for along experience, just have to be really careful to mix the bag well and not do a crazy dose.

yeah I totally understand the ideology about injecting.


the reality tho is it's the most sterile, reliable means. (I know I'm preaching to the choir here)


its' used in hospitals for good reason!   


and aside from possibly hitting a vein (which is very very low probability, I've done more than 1000 im injections and never had one)
I think the risk is pretty much nil.   unless you include using impure medication or dirty tools.


and people seem not to be able to distinguish between IV and IM.(not saying you are, as know you to be educated in this)    IV has a bunch of risk factors, embolism, absessing from a miss, blowing veins, blood infection etc. 
but im is pretty damn safe and convenient.

I started macrodosing LSD via IM as well (liquid ovbi) and it's again just reliable af.   no variable in digestion based on what I ate, or how my stomach acid is working, etc.

it seems like a ROA that isn't super well known (among local peeps I'm the only person to have done it, and I live in a large city)


and one that is very stable and beneficial so just figured peeps would be as excited as I am and it would be bustling

so I don't waste any time clearly. 


I micro dosed  .25mg of 5 today ROA is IM,
it's still not sub perceptual like micro is intended to be, but it was close.


more research to come


but still if anyone has experience I'd love to hear.

it's shocking to me this thread isn't more robust.


IM seems like the ROA that makes much sense with 5.
this is of course coming from someone very new to the medicine but the way it's so gradual is like sinking into the ocean rather than suddenly being
submerged within the depths.


would love to hear more about this topic.  dosing, what consittutes a breakthrough.  how often this "ought" to be used.

I'm new to the forum. been reading for a few months. now would like to engage with peeps to get more info.


I'm new to medicine in general, and 5 has picked me it seems.   


did the more well known stuff back in a past life, and now in this life have done some light doses of 5 vaped, and one moderate dose via IM.
IM is very much the ROA I want to talk about and explore as vaping is very jarring (as you all know)


I largely want to heal trauma, I'm very much coming from an academic mindset, seeing research on brain growth is very
exciting to me. and hearing how IM 5 released physical tension in all participants of one study (ie release of stored trauma) is also very exciting to me as someone with CPTSD.


I also know that this medicine is not to be taken lightly and approached with respect and even reverence.  I endeavour to cultivate this spirit more through this community and learning from all the wisdom that exists with you all.
