Where in the museum do they state this? I spoke to a Pre-Columbian Anthro expert, and they said that there's no clear evidence for the use of Incilius alvarius, only Bufo marinus.

Man, the 5 oral activity question. So there ARE trip reports online claiming oral activity without an MAOI. But other reports, including Sasha himself, saying no oral activity....

Maybe I'll change this to a statement about the unknowns?

What is 5-MeO-DMT ?
5-MeO-DMT or 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine is a powerful "entheogenic" substance of the tryptamine class and a naturally occurring endogenous neurotransmitter found in all mammals, including humans. It can be extracted from numerous plant species or it can be produced synthetically. It also exists in varying quantities within the bufotoxin of the Sonoran Desert or Colorado River Toad (aka Bufo Alvarius, Incillius Alvarius). The plant extracts have been used as psychoactive snuffs by various Central and South American indigenous shamanic tribes. There is no current evidence confirming that the Bufotoxin of the Sonoran Desert Toad has been used within any living shamanic traditions, although there is much circumstantial evidence of its ancient use. The bufotoxin is sometimes referred to as "Sapo" or "Otac" by certain practitioners. (These are the Spanish and native Mesoamerican words for "Toad".)5-MeO-DMT can be found in both free-base and HCL forms as well as within the organic bufotoxin. Synthetic forms can range in consistency from crystalline to talc-like powder, which is usually white to beige in color depending on purity. The bufotoxin is generally crystalline and golden brown in color but can have traces of black specks which is usually other organic materials present from the collection or "milking" of the toad.The 5-MeO-DMT experience is completely unique and cannot be compared with any other psychedelic or psychoactive substance. No prior experience is likely to prepare anyone for 5-MeO-DMT and therefore anyone considering the experience should be informed to the fullest extent possible beforehand. It is one of the few substances rated as +4 in the Shulgin rating scale and it has often been referred to as "the crown jewel of entheogens" and "the God molecule".5-MeO-DMT should in no way be mistaken for or compared to n,n-DMT as it is exponentially more powerful (some accounts claim 4-10x more powerful) and can have long lasting after effects in some users.
How is 5-MeO-DMT used?
Most people smoke or vaporize 5-MeO-DMT free-base, either by itself in a glass pipe, or mixed with mullein, mint or cannabis.  Some practitioners use alternate vaporization devices including vape pens or argon gas vaporizers. It can also be effectively insufflated or administered rectally as either a free-base or HCL. It is rarely, if ever, taken orally or injected. Some of these consumption methods have proven more safe and effective than others.Dosing is EXTREMELY important. (See Below) 5-MeO-DMT is orally active and should never be combined with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOI's) such as harmine or harmaline, found in Ayahuasca or in plants such as Syrian rue. It should also not be ingested while taking any antidepressant medications, specifically Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI's such Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, etc.) or other MAOI antidepressants, which are contraindicated. This combination can cause serious reactions such as Serotonin syndrome and heatstroke. 5-Meo-DMT has also been reported to not mix well when taken prior to treatments of Kambo (poison dart tree frog).
What are the effects of 5-MeO-DMT?
When vaporized or smoked 5-MeO-DMT has a rapid and immediate onset. The experience is generally described as extremely overwhelming resulting in a complete dissolution of the egoic construct and a merging with the infinite. Some describe an incredible sense of acceleration or an explosion or implosion of consciousness that cannot be compared to any other psychoactive medicine. Others describe it as an ego death and may feel as if they are physically dying, though no physical deaths have ever been documented as a direct result from overdose from this medicine.Some describe being swept away by a virtual tsunami of consciousness of merging with the infinite and eternal love of the Divine. Others experience powerful states of ecstatic union, oceanic bliss and what some have described as an infinite and eternal "cosmic orgasm", "kundalini activation", "Samadhi" or full immersion into the "mysterium tremendum". Some may get overcome by extreme fear or terror and attempt to resist the experience. 5-MeO can both increase and decrease heart rate and blood pressure depending on the individual. Set and setting matter A LOT and can greatly influence a positive or challenging experience, as can an effective and responsible guide. A health screening is recommended in advance to be sure that prospective participants are in solid physical and mental health before partaking.
What is the dosage of 5-MeO-DMT used?
Every individual reacts differently to every chemical. Individuals can respond very differently to the same dosage. What is safe for one can be unsafe or even dangerous for another. The following provides a general guideline."Light" doses of 5-MeO-DMT range from 1-5 mg of synthetic or clean extracts. A significant "moderate" dose can range from 6-12mg. "Higher dose" ranges can go from 13-20+mg. Bufotoxin generally requires a higher dose due to the lower volume of psychoactive substance and is generally considered to be in the 60-100mg range for a moderate to heavy dose. It should be noted that varying individuals have unique tolerances and some can better process more tryptamines than others. Extreme caution should be taken when dosing and it is best to err on the side of too little or to start with a lower dose to determine individual tolerance. The effects are cumulative and subsequent doses can be given, generally dialing down each subsequent dose by 1/3 until the desired effect is achieved. Rarely is more than one "full release" dose desired.In general, the organic bufotoxin only contains up to 15% 5-MeO-DMT, while the rest of the substance contains high amounts (up to 80%) of bufotenine (5-HO-DMT) along with a wide array of other unknown organic alkaloids that remain unstudied. 5-MeO-DMT has also shown challenging effects and aftereffects in some individuals including ongoing spontaneous "reactivations" of the 5-MeO-DMT experience. It has been speculated that this is due to the endogenous presence of 5-MeO-DMT in the human body being stimulated and released sometimes well after the initial experience.WARNING! – 5-MeO-DMT should not be used casually, carelessly or in an unsafe or unregulated environment! It is also not recommended for it to be used on one's own without appropriate supervision. Ideally it should only be used with an experienced "sitter" or a highly skilled practitioner or guide who is EXTREMELY familiar with this substance, it's administration and how to effectively care for those undergoing its profound effects. The 'casual' use of this substance has lead to several unfortunate and preventable deaths.
