How do you store the vial? Mine lost potency after a few weeks. I stored it in the fridge. Was that a mistake? Does it need room temperature or the freezer? Does the type of salt, i.e. fumerate vs HCl etc, matter?

I store my 5-MeO-DMT fumarate vial at room temperature in a cool dark place, and it has kept potency even after ~1 year. I wouldn't think the salt type matters where storage is concerned.

Near the beginning of my 5-MeO-DMT use, I had an intense 1-week period of reactivations that was very difficult to deal with. Like your brother, it was more or less continuous where I'd have symptoms during both day and night. Thankfully it eventually tapered off around day 6, which I expect your brother's experience will as well at some point. It may not seem like it to him in the moment, but he should know that he'll likely be fine if he can just hold on.

As far as mitigating the worst of it, the advice from The Conclave is the best I've found. That includes exercise, acupuncture, "grounding" foods, etc. But the one that worked best for me when I was really having extreme effects was sedatives/anti-anxiety medication that focuses on GABA. And if he wants to go the more natural route (which is what I did), he could use the supplement GABA itself or another supplement called Kava. Either of those should temporarily calm down the energetic madness of reactivations.

If you have one of those premade carts you can buy, I'm guessing it's 150mg in 0.5ml, which would be about a 1:3 ratio. Pretty strong indeed.

Thanks for the report and the word of caution. That's really interesting about the high blood pressure during the experience. This area is so fertile for research, I bet we'll find out all kinds of stuff we didn't expect.

Do you know the concentration of the cart you used? A 2 second pull producing a breakthrough makes me think it was extremely strong, like a 1:1 or even a 2:1. It's possible to mix your own e-juice, which you can purposely make much more diluted to avoid those unexpected peak experiences.

I've found IM to be incredible as well. Great for both 5-Meo-DMT, DMT, and I'm sure other psychedelics too. Very underrated/misunderstood ROA.

Has a 5-MeO-DMT breakthrough dose using this method been clearly defined? I saw 10mg in this thread, but I've found that's not necessarily true if your goal is a full release. I suppose another factor at play would be which salt is used. I think HCL contains more 5-MeO-DMT per mg compared to fumarate.

Agreed, that would be really interesting. I've heard there's experiments involving DMT where participants are kept under the influence for extended times via IV. I think they're being held at the breakthrough level too. That alone would be wild, but to do the same with 5 could be something else entirely considering its relative ability to heal and change a person.

Anybody have experience using an intravenous ROA on a 5-MeO-DMT salt? I'd love to hear experiences in comparison to other ROAs such as vaped, IM, etc. Also interested in dosing. From the few reports I've read, it sounds like a very small amount of material is needed compared to other methods.

While I agree 100% this looks awful for the church, and it's hard to imagine not labeling it as proven bunk after the lab tests and church back-peddling, I do have to add myself amongst the group that believes the experience is different from regular mushrooms. To me it was like three times more potent by weight and it did have a quality that's reminiscent of 5-MeO-DMT.

It's interesting that myself and a number of others are reporting similarly. If it is somehow legit, I wonder how seemingly so much contradicting evidence exists. Though in my case, it's not really relevant anyway because I found 5-MeO-DMT to be superior and would always pick it when given a choice. Just my two cents on the matter.
