Plugging seems the most similar to intramuscular (IM) administration, which I find to be the best ROA out of all that I have tried for the simple fact that it allows for a longer time to get into the space and a longer time to drift back down. Plugging would be better than IM admin except that it's kinda hard to convince people to put powerful psychedelics up their rectum. They tend to be a little more open to a quick injection.

I have found there to be a lot of ego in the way this individual does work with people. He claims that he is the only person in the world doing what he does, but he has no idea what various protocols underground therapists use who have been working with this molecule since the 80s. It has been a well-kept secret for quite a long time. In addition, he makes claims that he is able to move dark energy out of people...people are perfectly capable of doing that themselves. I question the efficacy of a practitioner that claims they have some power that their clients do not have. People can be taught to do the energy work they need to do as they identify a need for it. If you have someone telling you what you need to clear out of your body that you are not able to perceive then they are probably running a power play on you.

I will second that. You've come to the right place. There are many people here that have experience with integration and help can be provided both on the forum and in one-on-one arrangements if necessary. I have formal training in counseling and can also refer you to other experienced integration counselors and therapists. Having conversations on the forum and receiving community support can also be greatly beneficial to your process. I once had a very challenging ayahuasca experience and it helped me incredibly to be able to write out the experience and have a few community members hear me out and validate how challenging that experience was for me. I'm a bit skeptical of this book. There are lots of unsupported claims that are made regarding 5-MeO-DMT synthesis, claims about Pinoline, and misspellings of the word Serotonin (book spells it Seratonin). I would be interested in more formal and substantiated evidence to back up these claims and I do think there is great potential for researching Dark Room Retreats as ways to activate the same headspace as 5-MeO-DMT.

This part really stands out to me:

I see a lot of buzz words (and references to studies) that seem a bit light on content. I would be more interested in what their vision of toad harvesting looks like, rather than hearing their long-term goal is "sustainable harvesting" (especially as they drop the harvesting in their opening paragraphs). Given the controversy that erupted around Rettig at one point, as well as the lack of engagement with the whole bufo/5-meo conversion claims and critiques, I'm curious as to what the motivation is here.

If sustainable acquisition of 5-meo-dmt is the question at hand, why not fund synthesis efforts? Would that not be the least destructive to the toad? If the goal is bufotenin, yet there is no bufotenin in the secretions, why mess with the toad at all?

Thank you for posting this. I finally got it dialed in. I used a very similar tek without the heat. I did find the heat was critical in the conversion.
