Hello, are there any updates regarding the situation and the accusations towards these people?
Hello, thanks for sharing. Identity is a pretty strange thing huh, we find ourselves living in these bodies, seeing out into reality through individual points of awareness, remembering a story associated with it, the history of how we got to where we are and we can get so tied up in the story it strangles us and chokes us. I can only imagine how the medicines have enabled you to loosen some of those binds you've lived in for so long. It was actually part of the title that draw me in to this particular thread though - it's a Hindu saying and it reminds me of a book on teachings from Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj called 'I Am That'. Are you familiar with it? If anyone at all reading this thread is familiar with this book or the concepts involved has anything to say I'd love to hear your perspective. Thank you

Well I think the fact that you're already familiar with nn-dmt is going to help a lot, because you won't be totally taken by surprise when reality is pulled out from underneath you like a rug... Although, with a high dose is can happen very quickly, and there definitely won't be as much going on as with nn-dmt that you can identify with and cling to, as such. If you're doing it on your own I suggest starting with a small amount and working your way up. This way, you can familiarize yourself with handling the substance, especially if you're vaporizing it yourself. Personally, I prefer having a good friend who knows how to prepare a good dose properly do all the handling while I concentrate on breathing and clearing my mind. That way all I have to do is inhale, hold it for as long as I can, and the only thing to worry about is a soft landing, no putting the pipe or device down or anything, just falling backwards into the safe space. This way I can put a lot more focus on my breathwork with as little distraction as possible. I've never really had too much of a problem with nausea, I've never vomited, but again, any worries of this kind were aided by the fact that having a sitter present means they will be watching over you, watching your breathing, there to help put you in the recovery position and clear your airways if you did happen to vomit... Also if they're good, they will be singing some icaros or other mantras as you start to come back to reality which is really nice.
BUT since it sounds like you're more than likely going to be alone for this, all I can really suggest is making sure your space is ready, you plan where you're going to put your pipe/device in advance, you do the breathing and mind clearing, and you aim to get yourself into a vomit friendly position instead of say, lying on your back or any posture where your head is tilted backwards where your airway could be blocked either by your own tongue or vomit. Extended childs pose works well for me.
Good luck and namaste  :)
This is quite troubling to read on my first visit to the 5hive in a long time... The people through whom I was introduced to 5meo, learned directly from Gerry. =/
What!! A book recommendation goes above and beyond the response I expected, thank you Humble Voyager!! I'll get my hands on this and report back with a review and my experiences asap.

Wow, thank you so much, I've only just begun digging and this has revealed a whole heap of awesome stuff from Ralph Metzner I haven't come across before. So excited, thanks HV.
I've read elsewhere on the forum that intranasal insufflation is a more effective route of administration for the HCL form than vaporizing it.

Is this true, does anyone have experience doing this? Any recommendations if so?
Rising Spirit.... I think that was the most eloquent expression of whats going on with these substances that I've ever heard! Absolutely brilliant articulation there. Big grin!!!

I'd like to contribute some experience reports in the future. However I would like to say that, personally, my most profound experience with this kind of medicine has been with regular n,n. The particular experience involved the oral ingestion of a moderately high dose of n,n dmt during an ayahuasca session, and as far as I have been able to tell, the ordeal reached a much higher peak than what most people typically expect. It involved complete dissolution of my ego, my identity and sense of self, something people say is hard to achieve with n,n dmt. I would definitely label it as a non-dual experience. "I" went 'all the way', and while I have had breakthrough experiences with 5-meo, so far it has not come anywhere close to that particular experience in which I became just a lick of flame in the roaring, primordial fires from whence all things come! In a way that cant even really be compared to the 5-meo experience because the two medicines almost like apples and oranges... Although I would definitely agree that 5-meo is way more potent, and more effective in propelling the user to such exalted states of consciousness. I have not experienced any kind of entity or extra dimensional beings with 5-meo. Although the sense of unity with spirit or God as Martin Ball might put it is very profound, it has not had the same kind of lasting effects that nn dmt has left me with after being analyzed by some giant alien machine and healed with a beam of golden light that left me feeling love and euphoria for days (changa).

Fortunately, I don't use the ol' Fakebook ;)

Internet and digital hygiene has been a topic of interest to me of late, and there are a number of online services I've chosen to boycott such as Google and Facebook. I wish there was an alternative equivalent to YouTube though. I hope mentioning these company names doesn't go against the rules, my apologies if it does! I didn't see anything about it

Hello forum dwellers :)

My name is Naomi and I am here for information. I've lost too many hours to forums before, so I'm going to limit how much time I spend here. You may not see me post often. But when I do, you can be sure that I'll have something worthy of sharing!
