Poetry and Art / Re: And see the sun...

Well, I thought pertinent to this thread.  The characteristic tilted back head, eyes rolled up and mouth open in soundless ecstasy.  I find it fascinating that as the body falls back, the spirit takes wing into the Infinite sky deeply within and beyond.

Many Sacred Medicines facilitate this shifting of one's conscious-awareness but I have been told with some authority, that 5-MeO floors the traveler in such a profoundly powerful and vividly lucid manner, that all other entheogens are simply precludes to such an immersion.

Within seconds, the person is seamlessly fused with the higher resonance, shattered by the awakening and fully absorbed by the Clear Light of the Void and so, wholly dissolved into the Godself which initiated this entire existential paradigm.  Yes?

Quote from: Saint Teresa of Avila
The fourth, Devotion of Ecstasy, is where the consciousness of being in the body disappears. Sense activity ceases; memory and imagination are also absorbed in God or intoxicated. Body and spirit are in the throes of a sweet, happy pain, alternating between a fearful fiery glow, a complete impotence and unconsciousness, and a spell of strangulation, sometimes by such an ecstatic flight that the body is literally lifted into space.[citation needed] This after half an hour is followed by a reactionary relaxation of a few hours in a swoon-like weakness, attended by a negation of all the faculties in the union with God. The subject awakens from this in tears; it is the climax of mystical experience, producing a trance. Indeed, she was said to have been observed levitating during Mass on more than one occasion.

Quote from: HumbleVoyagerDoesn't that sound like a 5-MeO-DMT experience?

I still cannot testify, until my first experience finally arrives...  but yes, it really does fit the description and self-shattering paradigmn encountered by those who dissolve into the nondual state, so overwhelmingly facilitated by 5-MeO-DMT.

I honesty believe that the human brain can access these heightened states (blooming fields of indivisible conscious-awareness), both entheogenically and endogenously, as the chemistry of ecstasy and transcendence of oneself are naturally occurring and so, the brain receptors are blueprinted within our DNA.  Many mystical traditions point to the same reality.  Deep bow, HumbleVoyager

The detail from Bernini's magnificent marble sculpture of, "The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa".
Through Bernini's artistic genius, we observe her whiteout experience.  She sure does look truly enraptured.   ;)

While I still remain a 5-MeO virgin, I agree that there is something about our remembrance and re-experiencing of the sights, sounds and aromas associated with our most cherished entheogens. I liken it to an echo of the primary catalyst and source of the self-shattering experience.

Thanx for your superb reply, n4om1.

In my small experience with psychedelics, now spanning 40 years within this time-space-continuum, there are various molecular avenues and portals into wholly spiritual interphases within the field of absolute nonduality (the blinding light of infinity).

The most self shattering molecules erase the boundary lines betwixt oneself and everything outside of oneself.  That state of being where there exists no inside or outside, self or other...  our personal limitations being dissolved by the effulgence of an ineffible transcendence of the Absolute, that state which eclipses within the truest self, the universal Atman or Oversoul.

And this symbiosis links to the Godself, in epicenter of Divine, most Grid-like expanse and immense vibrational field, which is shimmering as the sheerest pulse of undifferentiated Oneness.  Or perhaps, it may be more correct to say, wholly fused into the exploding emptiness of Zero...  the insubstantial force of the eternal Tao?

I humbly concur.  Funny...  when we are faced with states of conscious-awareness that lay beyond the scope of mere words and human narratives, we still feel compelled and inspired to encapsulate the remembrance of The One.  As wise Lao Tzu said over 2,500 years ago, "The Tao which can be expressed in words is not the eternal Tao.  The name which can be uttered is not its eternal name. Without a name, it is the Beginning of Heaven and Earth; with a name, it is the Mother of all things."

And while it may be as futile, describing the nondual state via our human conceptualizations, as attempting to reach a distant star by throwing a pebble towards it, for it is impossible to actually do so...  I honestly believe there is immense value in the act. I listened to this video interview this morning and found it quite intelligent and really beautiful.   8)

Hello everyone <3

My recent 5-MeO ceremony was the most ineffable, complete experience, and the biggest release of my life.

Thanx so much for the work that you do (or perhaps it's more play than work?).  I truly enjoyed how you attempt to describe the indescribable, within the frailty of human language.  Impossible, yes, but something does communicate in your sincere efforts.

It really is marvelously comical how and why Infinite conscious-awareness manifests in the secretions if the Bufo Alvarius toad...  but perhaps the organic placement of this sacred medicine is one in which the undifferentiated field of Supreme Being, rather enjoys the game of hide and seek?  Granted, such a notion is an anthropomorphic projection of humanoid conception...  but it is still kind of funny.  Right?  Again, mere words and their inadequacy to translate what is so far beyond mortal words, that nothing really can be said about that which transcends all strata of division, substance or form.   :D

I do feel, despite being a 5-MeO virgin, that this sacrament has been placed here, NOW, to awaken us the the only truth and that truth is...  that we are at the point of The Remembrance of Omniversal Self.  Whoever I dream myself as being, labels said fusion as, The awakening of the Omniself within human cognition.  This is exactly what the ancient Rishis, within India, meant by the Mahavakyas in the Vedas and Upanishads, like:   "Aham Brahmasmi" or I am God, and "Tat Tvam Asi" or That Thou Art.  "Prajnam Brahman" or conscious-awareness is God, and "Atma Brahman" or one's self/soul is truly Godself.  AKA, All is One.  Duality is total illusion for everything exists within an indivisible state and is eternal, absolute being.

This realization can be achieved by a lifelong path of deep meditation and self inquiry...  but the through the miracle of entheogens, opens portals to a sudden and ego-shattering experience of this level of direct knowledge.   In my small degree of experience, any of the major psychedelics can allow for this shift in intent but most of them involve a lot of work transmutting the rise in energy from the third eye (Ajna chakra) to the very top of the crown and far beyond that.  What is known of in Yogic and Tantric sciences, as the Bindu.

And I do wholly agree with the many fine ideas relating this interaction with the "God molecule", as the activation or opening up, of the Sahasrara chakra (7th energy center encountered at the appex of the crown).   This is the goal of mystics across the globe and the ultimate interphase within the nondual realm of Divine Light.  Again, thank you for sharing a bit of your most lovely epiphany.   8)

Thank you for the link, Bancopuma!

I know in my very bones that this molecule is the one that I have been searching for.  Everything elsese has led up to this stage in the game of awakening.  I am both excited and eager but also patient.  Things happen when they must.   But when that fine moment arrives...  SHAZAM!!!  8)

Thanks for the link, free-range!

I find it fascinating that James attributes the states of mind/intent/focus gifted by the two DMTs to chakra activation, as this has been my experience with psychedelics, since 1977.  Perhaps the various molecules target different levels of ascension, lifting the attention to that point of conscious-awareness, whereby subject and object dissolve within the field of indivisible being?  Now, a seasoned Kundalini Yoga or Kriya Yoga practitioner, can ride the Rainbow serpent higher and higher...   beyond the limits of self, culminating in the full bloom of the Sahasrara or 7th chakra.  This has been my experience with LSD, mescaline, psilocybin and NN-DMT.  How wonderful that 5-MeO-DMT propels the psychonaut to this level instantly!!!

High there guys & gals,

I wanted to ask you all to please describe something of the profound experiences born of imbibing the sacred "God Molecule", 5-MeO-DMT, and how it's tremendous effect has taken the willing participant way beyond what one had previously believed was possible.  What can one say about the comparisons and contrasts between 5-MeO-DMT and NN-DMT?  I understand that the visuals and sonics are each most unique to both molecules, on their own terms and have transmitted shifts in conscious-awareness which, in their own right are good medicine (so to speak).

Welcome aboard, Stauphpher.

Like yourself I am a 5-MeO-DMT virgin.  I'm sad to hear the The Nexus is so strict about new members, these days.  Six or seven years ago, it was quite easy to be included.  I guess I was lucky?  But I haven't been as active over there, nearly as much as I used to be.

I also share your love of Mescalito, although it's been 26 years since we've danced together, at the National Rainbow Gathering in Vermont.  Same thing with LSD-25, as it's been 25 years since my last voyage with Lucy, at the Rainbow Gathering at Rocky Mountain National Park.

I am most curious how the NN-DMT and psilocybin experiences since then have altered my receptivity to these Sacred Medicines?  Once a portal opens, the return journey is more accessible.  Happy you joined up, friend!   8)

Thanx for sharing, Bancopuma

And I second the notion that such sacred medicine has tremendous potential to help both, those who are physically dying and those who seek to voyage beyond the ego-self, into the higher spheres of conscious-awareness.  The doctor seems to seamlessly integrate the power of 5-MeO-DMT within a more clinical setting and environment.  Tom mentions that his source is from Amazonian plant material, not the Sonoran desert toad (Incillius Alvarius).  Would this then, be extractions from Anadenanthera colubrina seeds or Virola peruviana bark?  Can the 5-MeO be singled-out from the NN-DMT?

Be well and shine brightly, All.

Quote from: XzenIt seems to me you're already infused with the essence of the Sacred molecule, Rising Spirit, & that it's a 're-membering' you may encounter.

It's fascinating that you phrase it so, as I have referred to the phenomenon of spiritual awakening as, "The Remembrance", since my earliest encounters with psychedelics.  That transitioning from a wholly personal mindset, to an empty conduit towards an infinite expanse of conscious-awareness, the translucent emptiness of the Divine equation, the ineffible nature of the Over-soul...  as the very insubstantial core of Omniversal being.

While this can be experienced to some degree without the miracle of entheogens...  but from my experiences, it's not nearly as powerful.  For an avid spiritual seeker like myself, being essentially from a Nath Siddha tradition, one which practices Kundalini Kriya Yoga, I am convinced that the highest aim of this path is what 5-MeO-DMT gifts...  Absolute transcendence.

Quote from: XzenIn regards to comparison with Changa & Dimitri, I would say "The Miracle Molecule" is absolute saturation. Dimitri educates .. Alvarius saturates.

In this way, 5 seems thus far to be a primary catalyst for guiding us towards our 'graduation' - from tasting samadhi to becoming samadhi As Is.

Beautiful.  I look forward to my annointment with this supreme molecule.  The hope inside of my soul aspires to embrace this spirit teacher, whose intervention dissolves oneself in the timelessness of an immeasurable, eternal attunement to the vortices of the roaring silence.   8)

Thanx for sharing this, HumbleVoyager.  I am always amazed how fellow psychonauts resonate so symbiotically with eastern mysticism.

Wow, this is such an informative, well written post!  And I too, am concerned about the toads themselves.  Can plant sources provide adequate amounts of 5-MeO?  What about yopo, Anadenanthera peregrina, cebil seeds?
