Hi Fivers,
I think like a few others here recently, I was inspired by Rafael's interview on the Psychedelics Today podcast to finally join. It's a great interview if others have not heard it yet. I'm thankful for those willing to speak up, and for the spaces held to do so. This can be an obscure topic, and I've found it difficult to talk to people about it.
Little about me: I am a graduate student in psychology, and I'm working as a talk therapist (medicine work is not a part of my practice). I am trying to figure out how to write my thesis on 5-MeO-DMT, nonduality, and the insight that can be gained from the experience for our day-to-day ego consciousness. I consider myself pretty new to the subject though, I had my first experience a year and a half ago. I'm interested in conservation and the sustainable use of this medicine, and think its highly important that we have a platform to discuss these things.
Thank you for having me, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.
