I’ve watched it but wasn’t terribly impressed.

Summary: three white dudes have existential crisis and do drugs and make documentary.

They don’t really do any preparation, they don’t have a therapist, they don’t have any sort of contemplative practice to support these expanded states of awareness. So do the experiences affect them? Yeah. Do those changes seem positive or productive? Not really. Do they talk about why? Also not really.

Also please check out which has information on some guidelines.

There’s also lots of info on this forum that can help people make safe decisions when using this substance.

.12g is a MASSIVE OVERDOSE of synthetic 5meodmt. That is 120mg.

5mg is often all you need for a proper experience.

Did you end up going to the ceremony?

This is a great question, and the answer at the moment is that we just don’t know for sure.

It depends a lot on what triggers the seizures but from a harm reduction perspective it would be important to consider that since other psychedelics lower the seizure threshold, this one may too.

If you still plan on using this substance, perhaps use with someone present who can take care of you in case a seizure were to occur and use as little as possible and work your way up in the smallest increments.

We don’t know for sure, but it would be best not to combine 5meo with either of those. The Librium could cancel out the effects and naltrexone could prevent the nervous system from responding appropriately.

Thank you for sharing such a powerful experience  _/|\_

Hi Alchemystic, I've been so much better. I stopped smoking pot for months, now I can smoke peacefully again ;D . Im doing this excercise in which everytime I feel the anxiety coming, I recognize it and confront the thing that's making me anxious or afraid and simply feel it so it won't turn into a panic attack. It's like a wave, you have to learn how to recognize it so you can avoid riding it. Just being able to see it and letting it go without dragging you. I still have nightmares, but now I write down my dreams and use them as a guide for solving daily matters. Night meditation is a must. I found lots of help in swimming too, heavy breathing excersices, herbal oils (lavender specially), and come back to earth meditations wherever I am.
But what I think helped me the most are the books I've read along these months, they gave me lots of aswers and therefore peace.
Here are some of them, you might find them on pdf to download or you can get them from Amazon.
The important thing for you to acknowledge is that you are passing through this kind of situation for some reason, embrace your shadows, dive into your deepest thoughts and surrender.

Life beyond death (This one is my fav) - Yogi Ramacharaka
Karma - Annie Besant
Dharma - Annie Besant
The toad and the jaguar - Ralph Metzner
Hope you find your peace,

Thanks for the update! Would you consider posting about your experience with this in the Reactivations thread?

Not that I know of, unfortunately.
