Preparation and Integration / Re: The Reactivations Thread
« Last post by alchemystic on April 04, 2020, 03:16:14 AM »
I'm glad I found this thread because I see others experience what I been experiencing. Reactivations as I'm falling asleep. I got them the first few days after the bufo ceremony, and they went away but recently started again about 2 months after. I been remembering dreams where I'm seeing things like infinity and some panic hits me. A lot of panic sometimes. I been feeling anxiety around this. For the first couple of weeks after the ceremony I felt amazing. Lately I been feeling anxiety. Drinking a small dose of Ayahuasca a couple of times recently helped but I'm still clearly in need of integrating.

So physical exercise and yoga helps with this?

Introductions/Newbies / Shocked by bufo

I was not ready for bufo, oh my God. At the end of the ceremony I was saying I LOVE YOU over and over 30 times so it ended well but I seem to have resisted various aspects of the trip and my ego freaked out. This was the most powerful and intense thing I experienced in this life. There's not much I can say about it other than OH MY GOD.

Hi everyone! I am 22 years old and I live in the United States and in California! I've known about 5Meo for a while now and I was interested in an opportunity to change my perspective about the world.. I grew up in a tough household and I haven't been the happiest I could be for a long time and I was wondering if any integration coaches resided near the Bay Area/San Jose.. I would like to contact you as I'm looking for an opportunity to experience something lifechanging.. if anyone is out there that can help me and reach out to me for information on where I can access this I'd much appreciate it! Please be safe during these times everybody!

Introductions/Newbies / Excited, grateful, and nervous newbie
« Last post by JWC on April 03, 2020, 05:28:14 PM »
Hi Folks,

I had my first 5MeO-DMT experience recently, which was also my first psychedelic experience ever. And while the experience itself was somewhat terrifying, I’ve noticed and been grateful for significant positive outcomes in my life. I am already signed up for a second round in a couple months and am eager to explore and learn more as a help for preparation and integration.

I recently heard a guide describe my present feelings perfectly: “When people come to us for the first time, they’re understandably nervous because they’re unsure about what they’re getting into. But if they come to us a second time, then they’re REALLY terrified because now they know what they’re getting themselves into!” The initial part of my experience was very similar to what Michael Pollan described in his book, How To Change Your Mind—a hyper-fast, disorienting plunge into no-thing, no-thing, no-thing, no time/space, no self/other, without a sense of the bliss or unity consciousness or union with the Divine that others often describe. Meanwhile, according to my guides' report afterwards, while my consciousness was elsewhere,my body was moving and vocalizing quite a bit, and I seem to have evacuated some trauma likely related to birth and infancy as a result, which was a blessing. Still, while I don’t have a lot of doubts about doing 5MeO-DMT again, I am nervous!

I have been spiritually motivated all my adult life, including taking temporary vows as a Catholic monk, and believe that I have a good grounding in spiritual practice, community, and mystical thought to support integration. That said, while the spiritual dimension of the 5MeO-DMT experience greatly interests me, my primary motivation thus far has been the healing of early trauma.
